The latest addition to the Codmac on line tackle shop is the 130mm Big Mong. Designed by Jason Mullavey of Muldoon’s lures, it was this exact model lure that Rod Mackenzie and Gus Storer landed their first 100lb Murray cod.
These lures crash dive to 40ft plus and ride the timber well. No doubt they are sure to tempt plenty of large Murray cod and Golden Perch over the coming seasons.

Introducing the new one ounce curl-tailed mumbler from Bassman Spinnerbaits. This new version can be fished at depth and worked with a little more speed, perfect for Murray Cod and Golden Perch.
This is great news for those who exhibit a distinct lack of patience when casting. The curl-tailed mumbler is perfect for fishing along deeper banks and snags where it will quickly find and hold depth for most of the retrieve. This model can also be used effectively on the troll and its action in the water is nothing short of wild.

In the quest to push small lures to greater depth the new Full Bodied Mong Mong is the lure of choice when targeting Murray cod and Golden perch on the cast or troll.
This small crash diver will be right at home along the Murray River as it will in places like Mulwalla and the Loddon River. With a running depth of 9m plus there are very few places or fish this little gem won’t reach. A large range of Muldoon lures are available in our Online Tackle Store.

When you talk about raw passion and a real belief in a fishing product, then chances are the names Phil Alder and Bozos soft plastics would spring to mind.
Phil’s bright red business card is scrawled with the tongue in cheek line, nobody laughs at my tackle. Well in all honesty, I can’t comment on Phil’s tackle as I’ve never seen it and don’t really want to.
What I can make comment on is the outstanding range of Bozo soft plastics that Phil has good reason to be so passionate about.
